Cathay Hackathon 2026: Aviation Innovation in Hong Kong

Cathay Hackathon 2026 brings together students and recent graduates to develop creative, practical ideas for the aviation industry. Selected teams will gather at Cathay City, Hong Kong, on 14–15 November 2026 for a 24-hour development challenge, followed by competitive pitches.

The programme includes expert-led masterclasses covering technology, innovation and AI. Participants can develop their skills under mentor guidance and connect with industry professionals while exploring how their ideas could improve future travel experiences.

This year’s competition places greater emphasis on feasibility and real business impact. Standout ideas may receive support for further development and potential application within Cathay.

Teams must have three to five members, with applicants aged 16 or above who are current tertiary students or graduates within the past two years. Prizes include Cathay Pacific flight tickets and accelerated pathways to Cathay’s Digital & IT Graduate Trainee or Summer Internship Program.
