About the opportunity

The Hang Seng Management Trainee (MT) Programme is a prestigious, three-year fast-track development journey designed to cultivate the bank's future leaders. Trainees are placed into a specific business or function—such as Wealth & Personal Banking, Commercial Banking, Global Banking & Markets, Digital Business Services, Risk, or Finance. Through an intensive curriculum of cross-functional rotations, project leadership, and strategic exposure, the MT Programme equips young talents with deep banking knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the agility to navigate the rapidly evolving financial landscape.

What you’ll do

• Complete a series of strategic rotations within and outside your home department to build a comprehensive understanding of the bank’s end-to-end operations and product lifecycles.
• Lead and execute high-impact projects centered around digital transformation, customer experience enhancement, sustainable finance, and GBA market expansion.
• Conduct market research, analyze financial data, and evaluate competitive landscapes to support senior management in shaping business strategies.
• Navigate and apply the bank’s stringent risk management frameworks and regulatory compliance standards across all daily operations and strategic projects.
